Seriously guys if you're in that much of a rush for the weapon then get a fixed group or something. Otherwise, let people enjoy the dungeon itself.

I recently was just enjoying my PotD run with 3 others that apparently wanted to speedrun the floor. I wasn't trying to keep them captive or anything, since I wanted a higher level so that I have a better chance down in lower floors for an upgrade.

Levels don't seem to play a part in getting upgrades, only the floor you're on. Level only affects how high your gear gets synced to. You can get upgrades even if your gear is currently synced. The most effective way to get upgrades is to just get to the next floor as soon as possible while opening all blue chests because higher level isn't especially needed for anything in a 4-man party. In my opinion, killing an excess of mobs is only worth it if you have Fortune up and can smash through everything quickly with a Manticore.

It's always, "omg you other ppl don't wanna do something the way I want to, you need to start forming your own pts"

It never occurs to some to not pug content if they have a very specific way they think something needs to be done or if they want to watch 30 minutes of cutscenes. Everyone else just needs to do it this one way and this one way only.

If it's 3 to 1, the 3 are not the ones who need the fixed party.

The only time I've been kicked from PoD was when I put a laugh emote on the tank that was frogged. So I assume safely now that people are not there for fun anymore. lol

Don't kick people from PotD unless they're afk/offline. If someone is using a different strategy from your preferred style, try a little communication/explanation. God forbid people should talk to each other in an MMO...

You guys know a kick doesn't mean all 3 wanted them out, right? It's only 2. The person starting the kick + 1 other. So it could be 2 vs 2. Try communicating first. Full clears are better because the time involved in killing a mob is less significant than the chance of it dropping a chest, but I'll go either way on it. You're shooting yourself in the foot skipping stuff but it doesn't matter that much to insist on a full clear if it really is 3 people wanting to skip things in that situation.

Also for what it's worth had a guy upgrade armor from 29 to 30 on floor 12 today, which may be part of the change they made.

This problem would just be absolved if there was a 3 vertexed polygon that takes into account of differing goals and values. Efficiency, Exploration or Social. Only those scored highest on efficiency would never get paired with anyone with moderate or high scores in exploration or social when using the PUG finder.

Social - to have fun, laughs, chit chat, a casual clear, don't care a few wipes here and there
Exploration - to see everything, lore, content learning, mechanics reinforcing, patience, mentoring newbies
Efficiency - fast and rapid, performance-orientated, achievement seeking, speedruns
