Don't the aetherstats reset to your current amount if you don't beat 10 floor of the tier though? If not they should do that from happening again.

The problem here is people aren't happy with the amount of upgrades they managed to get in their run.
So instead of completing it and doing it over from floor 1, they wipe the group (or just leave the instance and take the penalty if they're slightly less inconsiderate), just so they can start back over on floor 41 and perhaps get better random rolls on upgrades the next time around.

They really do think too highly of the playerbase, now i'd rather not they assume everyone is like this but stop and think about stuff like can be exploited.

As for the op i really don't know what to suggest than perhaps go with friends.

I'm sure people enjoy seeing "unchanged" on 41-50 when they only need 2 more weapon upgrades....The reality is that it takes less time to just leave and wait than it does to go from 1-40. Do I defend failing the boss on purpose? No. But leaving honestly when you only need 2 upgrades is becoming less and less of an issue to me since this oversight could've been easily handled by the dev team by making it so that the person gets the upgrade to the uncapped if one is already capped. Dont hate the player....hate the game.

I think we give jp players too much credit sometimes, being a jerk knows no race, culture or nationality and I know plenty of Japanese people who would step on your throat to get something just as quick as Americans would.

We just complain more.

I am not saying that the Japanese fan base is all polite and proper, but you always hear stories of people who transfer to a Japanese server and glow with how much better their DF runs are and the like.


At any rate, the devs are already planning to make it easier to upgrade aetherpool gear, so this is gonna be a moot point.

The groups I was in vote abandon on floor 49, since lots of people are in the same boat, it succeeds. Don't think I'm ever going to find a group that will do floor 50.

I guess they should lower the rng on silver coffers even more the more times they wipe, leave the instance, get kicked, and/or vote abandon until all 50 floors are done.

you can easily duo the whole thing with a friend. Enter with sch and warrior, get some practice and its a cakewalk if you dont get too cocky in the later levels

plus, it makes way more fun since its no completely blind faceroll of all areas
