Please increase palace of the dead time limit to 90 minutes like dungeons

It's really amusing how people who play it in the whole light party come in to say that there is plenty of time ^^

Try to do it in a group of 3, 2, or solo. With every player down the instance takes longer amount of time and the time limit indeed does start to become an issue.

Idk, maybe the time limit could be scaled based on the number of players?

I think the issue that some people have with full light parties is that since the mobs respawn... you get people trying to do a full clear which is impossible.

There is also the issue of people with bad luck in their upgrading. Seriously one of the members in my FC went +12 weapon, +2 armor. I saw someone with the inverse of that too.

90 minutes is too much. That will be 30 minutes more time to level up. Then you will start 21-30 floors with lv 50 (currently with the 60 minutes it is 30-35).
5 or 10 minutes extra would be enough.

The timer force you to find a balance between leveling up and running forward. Focus too much on exp and the timer can run out. Focus on running forward and the level can be too low for the boss or you start the next 10 floors with lower level and get there problems with the exp/time balance.

If you are on the last floor before the boss room and have 15 minutes or more time, earn a bit more exp before fightin against the boss, so you have the boss fight easier and start the next save spot with 1 or more levels higher.

But I will reiterate that the things you are saying can be read with a tone of condescension quite easily, and it's entirely possible to say something that at the surface is entirely civil but with subtext that is insulting and demeaning.

Well it's your choice to read it with condescension but I will tell you I think it is rude to do that especially because then you insult me for just posting questions, my opinion, and some tips. If you notice I never put any labels on you, but you have labeled me "demeaning", "insulting", and "condescending" all in one post. All of them obtained with assumptions; wrong ones too. A bit much?

Whether you intend it to be or not, telling me that I would be better served to play the Deep Dungeon in a group if I don't like how challenging it currently is solo is condescending.

I only said that because your only annoyance was apparently "wasting time"...in my mind if I didn't want to waste time I wouldn't try to do something that is difficult solo; I would do the group way. So if you notice I openly said a couple of times that I don't understand your point of view and asked you why you don't want to join a group when groups are readily available since so many players are doing the content. I was trying to understand how your mind works.

You never answered me really... why you don't join groups. You just accused me of saying you don't like a challenge when I said no such thing, but you never specifically said you want to solo for the challenge. Then you just went on a tangent that I am being insulting and condescending when all I did was ask you why. In my own logic if you don't want to waste time I don't understand why you'd want to solo, but that's just me being insulting, demeaning, and condescending I guess?....definitely not just curious or trying to understand you... noooo waaaay right?

Your whole argument has been that you don't like to "waste time" but technically soloing this content is an absolute waste of time because in a group of 4 you can clear it WAY faster usually and have no risk of dying due to RNG or just spacing out and making a dumb mistake like pulling two slimes and having one blow up and one shot you and yeah I did that lol.

Even if they do your suggestion of 5 floor saves, which in my opinion would make it a lot easier, it still would be a massive waste of time to solo because a group can clear all 50 floors by the time you clear 1-30 (or maybe even 1-20).

Here is some data for you also. I got to floor 19 with around 25 minutes still on timer, portal opened at around 22 minutes but I had so much time left so I stayed and got more EXP. Technically though I could have gone to boss floor and beat it with around 17 minutes leftover at clear (it took me 4 minutes and 37 seconds to beat the raffelsia).



Attempted some of floor 21-30 and on my best attempt I made it to floor 27 (and this is without going back and redoing 11-20 to get more upgrades). I still had pretty much 18 minutes on timer at this point which if calculated SHOULD be enough to clear to 30 with using the 5-6 minutes per floor restriction. After doing that I really think it is possible to clear it; it just is going to take some work...not sure if possible without going back for extra upgrades but I got close without it so I definitely will try again. Its so much fun to try it when one little thing can totally wreck you.

This is the moment I died because I got screwed by having stolas owl mob spawn on top of me when I was fighting another mob. Yeah...they kinda sleep you and then I got Wild Horn and it pushed me into the other room and aggro'd a third mob lol ugh such bad luck >< I probably would have lived if not for that....ugh it was so much fun though 21-30 is definitely quite a bit more difficult than previous floors.

Yeah, I'll just do a Rift in Diablo 3 since it's already more rewarding then PoTD. There are plenty of other games to play, SE needs to make their content FUN.

,etc,etc,etc

Most rogue-likes have a much quicker turn-around time. You could completely beat a game of The Binding of Isaac before someone is even halfway done with the climb from 11-20 solo...

And the system rewards you exactly the same, from floors that reward you with mantichores making the floors are completed in a short time or giving benefits on floors

That said, while I'm having an extremely hard time now on floor 31+ on my BLM solo run, I don't want the time to be increased. I imagine that increasing the timer would take a big part out of the challenge as people would overlevel and faceroll everything.

Healer has its own set of drawbacks because we have lower DPS than a real DPS; takes me awhile to kill stuff and I also got very bad luck on the weapon upgrades.

Those slimes...I died a couple of times before I realized I just cannot kill them without using a STR pom. Which is bad because if I run out I have to use Witching poms on them to not die and if I run out of those @.@ I had to avoid them sometimes and have also died because my fairy aggro'd one ><. Once I got to maybe floor 16 I had got a couple upgrades I could kill them without a STR pom but it was scary close to exploding.

Also ..when did I say anything about easier or not easier :/ my post is just showing my progress and since the person I replied to had mentioned that we don't have much data I gave him some.

BLM would be cool to try....does sleep work on any of the mobs? I can see that being super useful.

Forgive me if this was already asked when you choose fixed vs match party are you able to change that. Say first 20 levels you do solo but then want to switch to match party with other players can you do that or have to restart over again?

Fixed can go to matched but not reverse.
