Haha. This is so sad but true. In Weeping City, whenever there's an Alliance with 2 WHM they usually wipe at least once. I always joke about how they're probably fighting over who gets to dps, and refuse to heal. One time I even had to heal their entire party because we wiping to Ozma due to them. The moment I stopped healing them to heal us, they wiped Dx
So I was leveling my AST and my boyfriend leveling his BRD in Vault. We were both lvl 59 and we never wiped there before since it was a dungeon we level at all the time before we can do Library . We had a DRK and a BLM (sproutling) and we explained mechanic per mechanic. Anyway, until to the final boss, it was going smoothly. Now, I love this run as a healer, so I'm very comfortable with it.
So on last boss, BLM dies on the first hell pyre (the one where the fire comes around the boss). I didn't res him right away because I was trying to keep squishy tank alive. It wasn't easy, but we wiped after the balls. Now on this second try, we wiped on the first chain. I got chained to the blm (we told him to move) but he kept casting so I had to interrupt heals and run. I ended up all the way in the corner and died because hes still close enough to me. Next wipe, BLM died on same mechanic. Between an undergeared squishy tank and blm who dies on the same mechanic, we wiped roughly 10 times.
I had this happen too, in Hullbreaker hard, our tank didn't load properly and I could only aoe heal him to try and keep him alive but to no avail. I typed what was happening and as we all died and respawned, the problem was fixed. I did have a little heart attack tho, thinking my ps4 broke.
..... Oh. I assumed the untargetable player bug was just due to my lousy 10-fps-laptop... Then again, it happened to me and my friend when we were an AST/SCH pair in Weeping City one time, and he (like I, generally) plays on PS4.
I'm oddly relieved that this is a bug that's occurring to more people than just I, though. Not that the bug's a good thing, of course.
Back to shirking my dailies and the 210/240 relic of mine by playing Zero Time Dilemma, then
I had something similar to that a while back. I got Halatali HM for my roulette and the entire party list wasn't shown to me. I could see the individual players but I didn't have a party list to heal them easy. I had to manually click on each person which was a pain because I played on PS4.
Garuda HM, I'm paladin, the other tank is a warrior. While a firsttimer watches the cutscene, I use Shield Oath while the warrior doesn't do anything. After the barrier falls, I run towards Garuda, ready to pull her - and suddenly the warrior pops Sprint, runs ahead, pops Defiance and pulls o.O I'm utterly baffled about this behavior, but then I just let him maintank and go Sword Oath.
After Garuda casts her ultimate, everyone goes to the south of the arena - everyone but the warrior who tanks her in the middle, and the new dragoon. Storms spawn, warrior and dragoon get knocked around, then the warrior finally decides to go to a safe spot - in the east instead of going where everyone else is ;_; The scholar sends his fairy to him, but none of the people in the south join the warrior. Adds spawn, I take them, they die pretty fast, Garuda eventually dies too. Everyone is kinda annoyed by the warrior, I /slap him and leave with four comms.
Please, dudes - don't try to maintank a duty if you don't know how to handle it ;_;
Welp, just had a frustrating wait in Duty Finder wasted. Me and the SO are queued up for leveling roulette, both dps, trying to well, level. He's on a 29 arcanist, I'm a 29 rogue, and I'm trying to get though storyline so we can queue up for better dungeons. We get into Toto-rak, and since he was soloing while waiting for DF pop, he has tankbunckle out. Tank immediately leaves before he has a chance to summon dps carbuncle, and healer says tank left due to carbuncle and follows.
Tank didn't even ask or say a thing in chat, not even a minute to allow for the summoning of the correct carbuncle. I mean, at least say something! If he didn't swap out, then I understand, but give us a moment to load in. :\
Joined trials roulette in progress this morning and got an in-progress twenty minutes in. Uh-oh, I said to myself.
It was Final Steps of Faith. Only people left were me, the bonus scholar, and a warrior. The axe looked familiar; I examined them. Yup, Horde Axe. I unsheathed my Horde Guillotine and got busy asking linkshells for help.
We filled up pretty quickly and no one else left. I did a ready check after party buffs, pulled, and everything was smooth sailing from there. We one-shotted that beast and the grateful scholar thanked us profusely. They'd been trying to clear it for days.
About half the party had Horde weapons so she definitely lucked out that time!
