I'm guilty of using Asylum + DS + Medica II + Regen (just on tank) for giant pulls so I can DPS more and heal less. :') Especially that pull in Sohr Khai with those stupid birds. THEY ALWAYS CLEAVE THE MELEE. ALWAYS. QwQ

Same xD; I do similarly on AST, in diurnal, when a particular FC mate tanks :x Cause he likes to pull big (like, after eggs in Sohr, he'll pull the big birds all the way up to the end with the gryphon, etc) --- and I like it when tanks pull big (make me work for it, dammit! I want the challenge!) - also used to do the same combo you described when I used to main WHM, and then HOly spam.... or in the current case, aspected benefic + aspected helios + gravity spam\o/

I've done A.benefic + a.helios + Synastry to take advantage of the double heals but I haven't stopped to really check if it doubles the regen heals o.o *Will experiment on FC mates, later* Hope I'm not just wasting it if synatsry isn't effected by regens o.o;;;

I've always wondered if people thought I was just being one of those 'omg this healer is using medica2/aspected helios for no reason omg overheal this sucks', but... it's just kinda like, "but it's for the tank so I can do mah deeps D:!"

I used to see it now and then, back in the days of ST - but not so much anymore (thank gad).
Now I just often see WHMs pre-cast medica II before pulls (usually after I've spread shields in Noct stance... as if they think my pre-shielding is the same as their medica II regens.... D: ).

Sorry, it doesn't. It only gives the person you put it on a percentage of your single target heals (not including essential dignity) cast on other targets, so like benefic/II. It's nice to put on a DPS that can't dodge or something while you're healing the tank (just one example), but sometimes I use it just for the healing magic up.

Yeah, I use it when I'm having a hard time keeping up, for the boost, if it's a single tank in the party, or to preserve mp so my little benefics are like one and a half, but.... I guess my other idea never worked in the first place...
