1 Materia makes any crafted item better than any NM/Raid/Dungeon item. Why?

If special materia could be made from raid gear, would solve a lot of this.

Not really. How do you add materia to r/e gear? You want every raider to max all crafts in order to get the most out of their own gear? How does that help crafters? How does that help anyone?

Having it drop special materia solves the problem.

You're right to, didnt think of the fact itself that, of course, r/e gear can not be traded lol. Btw that could be solved adding a system like the repair system, where no trade is needed.

I'm against r/e gear giving special materia simply because r/e gear itself is rare... imagine if it has to be dropped, morphed in materia, then dropped again, etc etc.
