    Not necessarily, ideally it should be a mix of all 3.

    Also raid fights could unlock a special spirit bind in certain items, or drop certain items which could then be used in the creation of a special materia. Honestly... That would be more than enough to ensure that raid content is properly rewarding for the effort. It could even be tradeable so the casual raid haters don't have to complain about it!!

    I would like that even much better than making the crappy Darkhold gear better.

    i hope something is done to bring battle and crafting together. but till it is i fear there will always be an argument over who gets the better gear. but till the game is 100percent finished who knows what the end out come will be. but for all them who think crafting has the best gear. there is a clue to the fact your misery might be short lived in the live letter from the producer. we are told ifrift only drops weapons, and we are shown a pic of the next primal ,which i will guess will drop armour
