Except that premades are also typically made up of the better/best PVPers on the DC.

Sometimes, but I've seen some pretty mediocre ones coming from less-populated servers (ie, Cactuar).

Although it's funny as hell when we squash one "top" pvper with a PUG group he comes back with a full party of 8 because he really isn't that good without his 3-4 pocket healers.
What's even better is that after you beat him a few times he does nothing throughout an entire match:



And the above has happened more than once.

If there's anyone who doesn't deserve to be called a top pvper, it's that individual based on his attitude alone.
