Switching resets your win counter (you keep previous progress, but effectively start at 0 again). This needs to change.
For what it's worth, the new white ball (aerodynamics system) only needs 100 wins and actually adds your total from all GCs. I got my first 40 wins with Flames and the other 60 with Adders. So the new mount is probably more accessible to a person who still has a ways to go on the older one.
