Can I report for being vote dismised?

You can report but nothing will come of it. SE covered themselves under different play styles is a reason to be kicked.

It's not a reason. Let's be very clear. "Different play styles" is NOT listed as an option for a vote kick.

Report them. I've done it before for that reason. You may never know what action is taken out of it, but hopefully it gives you peace of mind.

The developers have, on record, said that different playstyle is a valid reason to kick, and have stated that the 4 options are not all-encompassing and would not necessarily be related to the actual reason for kicking. It's literally just there for others to see why you want to kick them.

I have reported them already. They may or may not take action against them, either way I won't know (obviously), but at least I've done what I felt I had to. Maybe this was just an isolated incident and these 2 guys were having a bad afternoon and weren't on very good mood, in which case, I'll just have to deal with it, but there's always the chance this isn't the first time they do this, and if that's the case, SE should make sure they do not keep going around acting this way.

Not trying to claim you're wrong, I'm inclined to believe this actually (because only 4 options for kick is questionable), but could you provide a source (or transcript) of them saying this? Until I know they've said this, I'm going to stick to the ethics of maintaining my vote-kick initiations to the 4 options listed.

SE, I'm pretty opposed to this. If the vote kick is all-encompassing, please remove the four options available. I'll have an ethical dilemma VK'ing someone for "harassment" only because they have a different play style.

This is why you sorta need GMs to "act human" rather than systematically handle everything. I mean just given a context of a recorded ingame chatlog (lack of thereof), you can distinquish the intent or hostlity between players and whether or not a kick was justified, further more if their actions reflect any form of griefing.
