But they won't, though. SE hasn't had any event furnishings available for re-purchase, not even fixtures like the Bombard Lantern or Eerie Wallpaper that get destroyed if you replace them. If the event furnishings were available for purchase at the following year's event, the vast majority wouldn't be complaining about this issue.
Like this doesn't already happen with mog shop items so how would the trees be any different?

It wouldn't. As I said before:
I've already answered your question.True. I wasn't saying otherwise. People currently do this now with the furnishings on Mogstation. The above option would just eliminate direct MB RMT, while allowing those currently in game to continue to sell.
That does, however, break ToS. So, like selling houses/MS furnishings, people would need to get crafty to sell the Trees, as PF adverts would be reportable.
A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

Only the items that were untradeable get sold later on the mogstation. The trees in question are not only tradeable, but also market board sellable. It's like the Paramour Barding from the Valentines 2015 event never came back (in game or on Mogstation) because it is also tradeable and sellable.
It's probably because of the whole mess with the Eternity Rings where people were selling them in game for gil that they don't now sell anything on the mogstation that is tradeable.

That issue was already addressed. All they have to do is add the Market Prohibited/Untradeable tag to them just like they did when they added all the dyes - that way said person can buy as many as they want for their house, but cannot sell or trade them.
People still sell mog station items instead of trading in game person just trades gil and then person sends them the redeem code.

That's a different matter then. They should be added back into the event. And still made Mog Station purchasable.
No, it should be put in the mogstation. Why? Because I paid for the game subscription when the Cherry Tree event was around, so that I could get a Cherry tree. People that weren't around back then didn't pay for the sub, so why should they get them item that I had to pay for?
Of course, I don't really think like that and I don't care if they mogstation the item or not. But the point I'm trying to make is that you are not entitled to a limited item just because you pay a sub now, when you didn't pay for a sub back then. That's why it's limited and that's why some people think it should stay that way![]()

Put it on the Mog Station. I'd rather SE earned money from it and cycled it back into making the game great, than leaving it as this limited item that's in high demand but will never be given more supply. It's just a waste of assets. Even if it was $1 a tree on the Mog Station, SE would be making a pretty penny.
