Would love to see these items return to a calamity npc or add in an actual furniture store/garden in one of the cities for us to browse and buy old housing event items.

Mog station as a last resort, but added somehow should happen.

I really think that if they can add 2836 <--(exaggeration but you know what I mean) new items every patch to the game they can certainly add back in a few housing items people have been asking for over a year now.

Something that I noticed is there seems to be a never-ending amount of these tree's put on MB over time despite the event itself being a long time ago and supply should be extremely limited by now. However I see quite a lot of the time some get sold yet new ones then come onto the market, the supply doesn't seem to be going down much if at all.

Now it is possible it is the case of people only now just deciding to sell them but is there also the possibility that there is some glitch with them? Like after placing them they don't become untradable or people know of a workaround obtaining more without having taken part in the event? Like I said it could just be the supply keeps increasing due to new people deciding to sell their old event items but I do wonder if there is something else going on...maybe I'm just being paranoid.

A lot of people just held on to them awhile and are putting them up. You're also looking at people that have transferred over and possibly bought them cheaper on their previous server. There's a few other event items that have started to disappear. We're down to one Ornamental Bamboo on the Sargatanas mb. They really should be bringing some of the housing furniture for events back each year. I know I didn't even look at that stuff when I didn't have a house as it was useless and in my experience with other mmos, the items would be back again next year in addition to new items. It never occurred to me that it'd be a one time deal until the next year.

Most likely just players who have saved them from the event for the purpose of selling them later. I've got about 4 on a retainer that I've been holding for my own house, just haven't brought myself to use them yet for fear I'd lose them somehow. I wouldn't be surprised if current prices aren't enticing players who were saving them to sell on mb instead.

They need to put it on the mogstation. You can buy the past event items from there. This should be one of them as well, and I don't mind if they allow it to be sellable or not on the MB. All it would do is crash the price. Some people would benefit at first, sure, but it would calm down.

How expensive is it on your servers? It went down for a bit on Hyperion, about 600k one day when I looked.

I haven't check in a few weeks, but they were 16 million a piece on Gilgamesh.

On my server they're about 9.25m at the low end for now.

I hate the suggestion to set things on mogstations, it's a game and you are already paying a monthly fee...
It's an event item, and if I'm not wrong all those event repeat themselves every year, just make you able to re aquire even few old items with all the new quests.

I agree, give us some way to get the old items back. We already have a version of the metalic dyes that are gotten from retainers. Maybe make a version of the tree that is gotten from them as well? Sure be better than all the roods, walls and doors mine keep bringing me.
