I'll be surprised if XIV makes it to 10 years.

I wouldn't be. FFXI is at fourteen years and counting, and had a vigorous playerbase for the majority of that timespan. Though I will grant that FFXI had a lot more depth and complexity to it than FFXIV does (at the cost of balance). Naturally, though, even FFXI had folks crying, "The game is dying!" after only four years of service.

Yeah, I don't put much stock in the predictions of doomsayers on the forums. XD
