thank you sir
Hello, I have a question about my current gear set up which is here:http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/UW9W
I am using the Weeping City chest piece as using the stat weights provided on this guide, it comes out to giving me higher damage (10 base strength vs. 74 crit and 101 det). However, I have had others tell me that the 240 lore upgraded is still better, and since I am still progressing through A8S atm I don't see me getting the Midan chest piece anytime soon. Just thought I'd ask for reassurance.
Also, a question on A7S, is it better to use your cooldowns on the adds or to save them for the bosses? I can't seem to tell, and thought I do pull out pretty decent damage, I'd like to improve it more. From all guesses I would assume as soon as possible to squeeze out more of them, but that fight has a lot of downtime anyways so I was wondering how others approach the fight.I usually save everything but leg sweep and jump for the boss, though I might pop more on say the strum doll in the last set to ensure a quick kill and the cat to ensure it dies.
Thank you for reading.
Hi, so I just want to know if anyone has a screenshot of the Rotations for Level 60 on the PS4 Crosshotbar which I am trying to fix up right now. And would like some tips how to setup my cross hot bar for better rotation moves.
For starters, enable Extended Crossbars. That way you'll have room for every single rotation skill on your main bar, and every single cooldown/AoE skill on your extended bar and you'll never have to hardswap to another crossbar, which improves fluidity a lot.
I'm a little OCD so I keep TTT all the way to the right with Fang and Claw at the top. IDC all the way to the left with Wheeling Thrust at the top. All jumps in middle-left, and HT/Phleb/LS in middle-right, with the last slot for a STR pot. On the extended bar, I have BotD, BL, BFB, PS, IR, Invigorate, all the self-healing/defensive buffs and the AoEs. Works well for me, but the key point here is once again extended crossbars - it makes things a lot faster.
As said above, extended hotbars are your friends. Somewhere way back, JackFross posted one and I use basically the same one.
Basically, my face buttons (Triangle, Square, Circle, X) are my combos on my main bar. So TTT combo is on R2 (with Fang&Claw on the Triangle spot), and on L2 my CT combo is there (with wheeling thrust on Triangle). Then the d-pad buttons are cooldowns (Battle lit, invigorate, B4B, mercy stroke, etc.)
Then on my extended bars I have defensive cooldowns, potion, jumps (and power surge) and phlebotomize.
As suggested, I have Leg Sweep and HT in the same position on both extended bars, so that if I mess up which hotbar I access, I don't have to stop everything.
Also, though I don't know if this is possible on PS4 - I suggest adding one or two vertical hotbars next to your crossbar and copying the cooldowns you put on the extended crossbar on there as well, so that you can easily track your cooldowns without holding both triggers. I keep BotD, BL, BFB, LS, IR and PS on there so they're always in front of my eyes.

This is possible on PS4, and is also something I use to monitor cooldowns. I have BoTD/LS/B4B/BL/IR on my main hotbar so I can see them anyway, but I use it for Jump, PS, DFD, Second Wind, foresight, leg sweep, bloodbath and potion. Also, though I don't know if this is possible on PS4 - I suggest adding one or two vertical hotbars next to your crossbar and copying the cooldowns you put on the extended crossbar on there as well, so that you can easily track your cooldowns without holding both triggers. DW the Weeping City piece is undeniably superior. Just the Det component alone will exceed the extra 10 Str given by the lore 240. The tricky part about the Yafemi piece is getting it to work with your build so you don't really pocket all of the extra stat-weight gains.Hello, I have a question about my current gear set up which is here:http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/UW9W

As for A7S, because of my terribad latency, I actually cannot reliably get the 8th GCD in so I usually just save BfB for the occasion. The way my group does it is DRG only takes very first purple cage of 1st set, all purples in 2nd set and we clear before 3rd set (but I usually take 3rd too). While saving BfB is a raid DPS loss, it ensures I get consistency with the cage.
