I have started to see a worrying number of people who literally do nothing but /follow in a duty and expect you to carry them. It makes the duty finder even more of a chore.

I really miss changing gear in certain other games making your character blink and breaking /follow. You could have some fun with that.
i really miss the camaraderie and friendship on the forums :P it feels like all feelings that one have for each other is slowly degenerating since wow has become a mass phenomenon.
People seem to care more about numbers then with who they are playing with ^^ its really a shame :P
Its always me me me me me , and nothing else ^^ u should be all ashamed of urselfs ^^
You should really stop using so many smiley faces when mocking others on fostering bonds. It comes off at snooty :^)i really miss the camaraderie and friendship on the forums :P it feels like all feelings that one have for each other is slowly degenerating since wow has become a mass phenomenon.

Not to mention they say it's all mememememe, when they actually say people shouldn't care to improve and be a burden to a group due to selfishness. This person is just really sad. One of the people I started disliking on this forum and I hardly dislike people on these forums too.
You do realize your own signature expressly contradicts you by presuming anyone who disagrees with your "personal choice" will resort to "juvenile" remarks, when the simply reality is you're not playing your job properly, yes?
I'm completely lost reading these last few pages, all I can make out is a back and forth argument of calling someone a troll and the other person saying they're not trolling.
I did pick up on 'elitism' being thrown around again though, and if it's in any relation to the thread, I will say again, being upset about lazy players isn't being elitist. It's not like the OP came here ranting because he expects everyone in full 240 gear and playing in duty finder as they would a premade static raid. At least my interpretation is that the OP is tired of doing someone else's job for them because they queued as DPS and don't want to do anything but auto attack.
There is a massive difference between elitism and wanting people to actually, you know, do the job they picked.
I rather be called elitist and help people improve in both gameplay and have a better standar, you know.. being a good asset to a group, if you are a good player you will mostlikely end up teaching others how to play class/job. Not only does it help the community being a better player but mostlikely cause less wipes in roulettes and things will go alot faster and smoother, which will make people have more time to do other stuff while they log in. I highly doubt someone who has time to log only on for 2 hours a day want to be stuck for trial roulette for 40 min and suddenly they barely have time for anything else. People ignore the most importent part, many in here want's to help people improve and I can clearly see they do try. I mean c'mon, I've seen many people in this thread given other people advice or guide them to getter gameplay in other threads. To me that's not even elitist, that just proves people care for others for them to improve. It's like when people ''complain'' on these server about content, when it's actually just contribution for feedback for the team who makes content.
I still don't get some peoples ideas or even ways how to play. I can seriously not understand why people have to feed people with bad influences.
So yeah keep going calling me elitist, I rather help a person get better than be a fake person ''helping'' people to ''improve'' when they actually do the opposite.
Leaving this in here. YouTube on roulettes probably too so he can chillax more. I gutta try this too. I mean..some people in here do it but wont admit or already have in other threads. Haha love it.
I'm just going to bring up about a dozen or so times I've seen a Scholar out-DPS a horrendously under-performing DPS (or three, to be precise). Other people in the party were utilizing that-which-shall-not-be-named and as another responder to you pointed out, Holy is an amazing AoE spell for Whm. Scholar has a multitude of especially useful debuffs and DoTs to throw around that greatly affect fights, so don't discount healer DPS. It can be absolutely amazing if you actually try.Well it's not like it isn't an arguable point, his argument hinges on the fact that dps as a healer is a moot point because dpsing as a healer is useless.
I personally think instead of going back if forth with counter arguments you show hard facts and calcluations about exactly how much dps a healer can actually do
On the subject of this discussion, if people don't get the fact that this discussion isn't about "good vs bad" skill levels, it is about how damn lazy some people are and the fact they don't try. Very clearly the OP and others have said, if you are trying that's all they care about. It is painfully clear when somebody is slacking off compared to at least trying and failing for some reason (like ping, sluggish reactions and fat fingers. People who don't try are what's wrong with the human race due to their expectations of handouts. Sorry, the point of any collectivist action is to benefit the whole, not the individual. Also, I've gone through many pounds of popcorn reading the bickering. Please continue to provide my afternoon entertainment.
