After a few wipes when i wrote a few pointers in the chat to help, he clearly said outright he "won't read anything like that and will keep trying figuring out the fight on his own". I would say most of the other party members didn't feel elitist enough to carry this wipe fest, so we disbanded.

Also, i would say in many content, the one who vote abandon first are not always an "elitist" but some casual who couldn't get their quick carry. It goes both way you know, without any kind of proof you can say anything :P

The OP idea was an idea/suggestion so it has its good and bad points. As the thread going on people have already give their feedback on what they feel like a better way (some kind of rating but not separating etc.) Beside, we either try to improve the situation and move forwards, or stand still and move backwards. The numbers of "exception" will only be increasing if people do nothing (for example: seeing some dps with not good rotation, but instead of giving advice, just shrug off), and one day, the "exception" will be the norm.

Well you using a extreme example. From my experience from playing the game from launch is most are going to fall into the decent-good area cause of course there always going to be the "bad" or hard headed players just like elitist that even the casuals don't even want to play with.
