And you're frustrated because it seems like no matter what, some people are so stubbornly set in their praise of such frustrating and boring features that they come off as being stuck in some sort of ancient way of thinking where dull grind counts as a viable feature. Like they don't want the game to evolve or support the meatier parts of the game and instead fall in favor with chewing on the bones.

    From what I can tell.
What frustrates me most is seeing people complain about not being able to kill anything, even at their own level, and the only thing they're being told is "You're doing something wrong." The immediate reaction is to assume that the individual is using the wrong gear, and if that turns out to be false, they're pretty much out of ideas at that point. We had a guy in our LS earlier today who quit to go to the Besaid server because the advice being given to him by a guy in our LS was essentially "Check your gear," "You're fighting the wrong mobs," "You need to do chains," "You're not playing right." You could tell both of them were getting frustrated because the experienced player didn't seem to get that the inexperienced player might not be as proficient as they were in regards to what abilities to equip and when and how to use them, and the inexperienced player was making this abundantly clear. "You're doing something wrong." It's retarded.

Instead of simply telling people that they're "doing something wrong," you need to figure out just what's going wrong, especially if their gear and such already checks out. Are they using food? Do they have the right abilities? What kind of mobs are they fighting? Are there better mobs that they could be fighting in another area? Enough generalizations; they're useless in diagnosing the real issues.

    Edit:
Everyone who plays the game right shouldn't have problems at all. In the meantime, those who play wrong will face issues. Yes, I think we should ignore those who play the game wrong, aside from offering advice which they then choose to ignore.
This shit. This shit right here. Stop that.
