The ability to change Mount Music instead of just switching it of

One thing I'd prefer instead is for mount music to have priority. Nothing ruins the experience like flying just a tad low (or running in ARR zones), clipping a FATE zone, and hearing that ridiculous fanfare completely override the music for your mount. Even worse when you have no choice (referrring to ARR zones mostly) but to run through the FATE and the boss music completely taking over.

They just need to make it so the fate music doesn't play at all unless you are actively participating in that fate. I will run completely around them to avoid the music, not the monsters.

On a side note, I wish they allowed us to toggle things easier, rather than just sound on/off. If we could keybind mount music and background music it would be wonderful. I love most the music in this game but after awhile some of the themes become unbearable. Like Yanxia or any city music. In would love to just switch off background music temporarily rather than shut down all sounds.

You can already do that. The text command /bgm will toggle background music on and off.

You can't keybind it without a macro as far as I know. mute master volume is the only option in the keybind menu.
