And my counter to stranding players is that they can also utilize the Party Finder or other social aspects of the game. Dungeons are 4 man instances. Even if every single human being on the entire Data Center chose to Veto Aethero, chances are you could still find people to run it either in FC, LS, or through PF. And the fact is, not everyone will Veto the same dungeons. Frankly, I think plenty of people would choose Neverreap over Aethero as well. And only being able to Veto one, and not multiple, helps to curb the fact that it would take away some of the people helping new players trudge through MSQ-related dungeons.

People already wait 30+ minutes, and upwards to an hour, for some current dungeons and content. Why should it matter if you might have to wait 42 minutes to do Aethero cause half the game population of Aether have Veto'd it? I had to wait over 30 minutes for the first 3 dungeons when I was leveling my last alt. Do I whine because the roulette isn't shoving enough people into a dungeon I need? No. Either you're going to wait, get with people that are also doing that dungeon by choice, you get a group to run it by other means, or you get an FC member to unsync you through the dungeons they can solo. There are a lot of options. And for an MMO, the roulette is the least community/social oriented one.

Is it any better to make people suffer through content they don't like, than it is to make other people wait longer to do said content because they have to? Is it better to have a Healer or Tank drop Aethero in the first millisecond and then have the other three members pray that said role will Queue in Progress for a piece of content a lot of us know people don't like? In the latter, generally I see the party leave along with the Tank/Healer because waiting for 15 minutes plus inside and hoping isn't worth it when they can just re-queue.

I think we can still use the roulette to fill spaced for players that are choosing to, and needing to do content, but also allow players to make their own choices in which pieces of content they do not want to partake in at all. "Veto One" prevents over abuse of the system while still giving us more control over our experience in the game.

As for "relic progress", some of us do not care about relic at all. Some of us won't ever touch it, and some will do it so passively that the sheer thought of a reward simply to go towards "relic progress" is no reward at all. So "more eso for relic" is not a benefit to me. It's obviously the reason it was chosen to "sweeten the pot" on Aethero, but that's not a reward for everyone.
