That wouldn't work. They'd be sitting in there for hours trying to full their party up. Do you really think people are just going to jump into a PF to go into a dungeon they hate? It MIGHT work on large servers like Giglamesh and Balmung, but on smaller servers? No way. I can see were you're coming from if you're including getting people from FC's and LS's to help. That usually works, but trying to fill a PF for that dungeon with randoms? You might as well just que up for it. Your post was a shining example of the selfishness of the NA community.

    I agree.

When you as a player queue up for a Duty Roulette, you accept the fact that you might get a dungeon you don't like or maybe even hate. However, that's the risk by leaving things up to RNG and have the system pick a dungeon for you. People tend to use the Duty Roulette for the Bonus Tomes and rightfully so. But, leaving the duty the second you get into a dungeon you don't like (Like ARF, Aurum Vale, Toto-rak, etc) just makes you a selfish and "weak" player. You might be ok to take the penalty by leaving, but by doing that you are inconveniencing the remaining members of the party who did want to run the duty and clear it.

"I don't want to waste my time running a dungeon i hate. I'll go do something else for the next 30 minutes." is a popular reply if you'd ask the player who'd abandon the Duty. If that's the case and you don't want to "waste" your time, why would you queue up for a Roulette in the first place, knowing full well that you will have a chance to get into a dungeon you don't like. Everyone has a dungeon they don't like. For me it's dungeons like Saint Mocianne's Arboretum, purely because of the way most groups just want to rush through the Honey Walls, ignoring the mobs there and locking them out buy entering the boss arena.

However, i will never leave the dungeon and still give it everything i have in clearing the dungeon fast, but safely. I won't take unnecessary risks just because i want to get it over wish as fast as i can (i will always leave room in case the party won't be able to keep up with me and adjust myself according to the average skill level of the entire group). I chose to enter the Duty Roulette, so i will accept any dungeon they throw at me as diligent as i would any other duty.

If you really don't want to get into ARF, that's fine. Just don't queue up for the level 60 Roulette and simply select the dungeons from the Duty list that DO want to run. However, that will mean that you will not receive the benefit of the Roulette bonus, since you didn't want to 1 of the dungeons included in said Roulette. The choice is yours.

I will vote "No" in regards to introducing an ability to exclude a dungeon from a Roulette, but still get the benefits of the said Roulette.

Because they want the bonus tomes, duh.

The problem here is that just being forced to wait 30 minutes to try again is simply not enough of a deterrent to this sort of behavior, and I don't think extending that lockout is the answer either. What ought to be done is something that was suggested in an earlier thread along these same lines -- if you bail/afk/get kicked on something the roulette gives you, it should continue to give you that same dungeon/trial until you complete it, until either the daily or weekly reset occurs (daily probably makes more sense given the fact roulette rewards reset daily, but I think weekly would make for a better deterrent)

Once people know they can't just leave and try again to get something else they'd rather have instead, you will have a lot less people bailing on roulettes. You might have fewer people bothering to run the roulettes, but the people who would stop are the type of people that are already bailing on your dungeons nowadays -- and we should WANT to get those people out of our roulette queues in the first place.

Sorry but this has been suggested before and I'll say the same thing, roulette is roulette for a reason. It's random. It's unfortunate that you keep getting the same dungeon but that's just how it is.

If you're going to be able to pick and choose in roulette, whether it's just one dungeon or not, it defeats the point of it being a roulette. I don't support this.

The first thing that immediately irks me about your post is that you introduced yourself by the name your account already introduced you as in the forum post itself. >:C

Plus roulette is roulette for a reason. I'm already frustrated enough when people leave because they'd rather inconvenience people who wait a great deal of time for a dungeon for their insta-queue class, than push through the run of what could easily be done in less time than what their penalty would last. There shouldn't be any encouragement for toxic behavior like that.
