Most memorable NPCs outside of main scenario or sidequests?

I'll have to look through my screen shots to see if I have one with her name, but one that stuck with me was the female Miqo'te that was part of the growing group of Scions that are around leading up to your first encounter with Titan.

You can talk with a couple of them, her specifically, and she seems frustrated at points that she was apparently a member of one of the groups from before but no one remembers her (she wasn't a Warrior of Light though). Eventually she mentions that she's planning on retiring from the adventuring business...

Those npcs were actually from 1.0, the miqo'te is a Moonkeeper CNJ by the name of Una Tayuun, she and her partners (a hellsguard roegadyn ARC named Satzfloh and a male elezen THM in a green cowl and facemask named Percivans) were members of the Scions' predecessor organization the Path of the Twelve (this is what she means by "the Scions not being known as that back then"), and they actually appeared during one of the 1.0 main scenario quests where Minfilia had dispatched the player and their Path Companion to Moonspore Grove to protect the pre-Ramuh-caused schism sylphs from Garlean soldiers - basically Una and her companions actually forcibly take over the mission from the player and are rather standoffish about it:




Which makes what happened to them in the Calamity (and in ARR) sort of a mean-spirited karma in a sense, but it was still sad.
