They are oke, a little too grindy, but I guess that is one of the many purposes that the relic has. I just wish it was less grindy. Instead of grinding Y or X to buy Z so you can make XY, I wish they made it so we get the parts by doing something else. Like a long but hard storyline with fights that will get you killed fast.

I remember back in 2013 during the second BETA there was alot of complains, because the level 15 mini-boss was very hard and as a player you needed to buy potions, antidotes. Alot of players leveled a cleric so they could learn Cure and Protect. I would like to be more Kill this hard boss and finish storyline with puzzles and bosses then go grind 80 items for the next 6 months.

My suggestion will mean that SE has to work more, but I think in the end alot of players would like to have a non grindy relic quest for once.

They tried that with the Zenith Relic and Chimera. 90% of FFXIVs terribad playerbase was unable to complete the trial and that because of that, Yoshi basically said they will never, ever, ever change how relics are obtained.

Most people who play this game are barely capable of executing their duty roulettes never mind any EX-Primals or Raids.

but thats still better then grind your soul for 80 items PLUS some HQ crafting items. i actually prefer the route of step 2, simply do these set of dungeons and boom step done.

I never said it wasn't better. In fact, its the system I prefer.

I killed Chimera second try.

All I was saying is that Yoshi basically did say they will never change relic back to that system because %90 of the playerbase was too scrub to complete the trials and primals.
