Gonna be honest Warrior LB3 should just do mega damage since you basically bring up mountain spikes before you can say Stone 3.

why are we still surprised over war's solo'ing something?

im still surprised people dying in weeping city man its sad and pathetic

Wan't there a vid of a WAR soloing her for 15 minutes, about two weeks ago? o.o Fenris something-rather-I-forgot-the-last-name
Everyone was salty/pissy about him wasting time and to just wipe it..... they silenced after 5 mins of the WAR nowhere near being dead and Miss Sparklyhair slowly dying.
He just had to execute the mechanics and rotation flawlessly for 15 mins o_x (I wouldn't have been able to... I'd have slipped up somewhere, after so many repeats... xD; ).
Honestly, it re-kindled my want to re-learn MRD/WAR (had an alt WAR on Balmung, but... haven't played him in almost a year o_o).
I wonder if WAR solos on this fight will become more common (or, lessen when the mechanics become moreso older news than it already is, for some). o_o Seems to be three solo WARs, thus far, on this boss...

pretty much this. And idk why ppl are still surprised war's can solo bosses under 20%? It's been this way since ARR where you will hear stories from war's solo tanking chimera in cutter's cry. I perosnally have been in this situation many times,
Plus this boss doesn't auto attack a lot since she is always casting something. Impressive, but I think its pretty telling that a WAR is more like a DRK than and actual DRK. Anyone got a vid of a DRK soloing that last 5% of the final boss in weeping?

Poor DRK.....Clemency can only be cast up to 4 times a minute, iirc, and for no more than an Equilibrium, and at cost to block, dodge, and parry chances during those cast times. Every other Equilibrium can gain 50% more healing, or averaging to 1500 per minute, while a full Bloodbath can pull up to around 3000 potency of damage-based healing, and Inner Beast itself can pull up to an additional 1440 potency (300*4*1.2) per minute, and Storm's Path another 1000 per minute ([60/2.5/3]*[250/2]). That's a total of 4800, albeit augmentable 3 casts per window by Convalescence every 2 minutes (average 5340) against nearly 7000.
Clemency is not better. With the PLD also using Bloodbath, the two are very, very close, but the Warrior self-healing comes with a mitigation component, instead of mitigation loss.

It amazes me how people think this is a good thing, this happening means how good designed it was.

The only thing I hate about this is I've seen a few WAR's since these "WAR soloed last x%" videos went up suddenly drag the boss to a wall and try to cleave kill as many people as possible so they can get an "epic solo kill" too*. It's like "yes, we see that you're an almighty WAR, now stop being an a55 and do you're damn job!".
*or at least that's what I think their doing, they might really have just messed up. But that fact that I've never seen a PLD or DRK do it, and it's always in the last bit of the fight, leaves me questioning if it was a mistake or not
Edit: changed my wording a little, since it didn't feel I was getting the right massage across before.
