personal opinion: no new race, improve the old ones

I would really love if we could have more character creation options, even at the expense of development time on a new race. because the races we already have sometimes feel a bit bland and samey. I also really love spending time making my character and and want him to be unique, but also think the current creation is limited. More hairstyles are always nice but i think we need more options in general, with body and face, and separating au ra faces and horns (cos really, who ever uses the 4th option for males? the horns are cool, but he face is hideous).

Also, i know i'm weird for this, but i get more than a little annoyed when i see characters who look just like mine.

so, yeah, personally i think it would benefit the players since this game has a gorgeous art style, and yet many characters all blur together, with miqo ears being the same, au ra horns are the most prominent thing you see, so au ra seem harder to differentiate between each other, its just a difference in skin tone, horns and haircut.

This is just a personal opinion, but i feel like if there's a new race added, i still wouldnt be able to make it feel different unless i choose the ugliest of all four options in face/ chin/ mouth.

yeah i mean adding options, more than just 4 chin options and 4 face options. i dont mind choosing options and not having sliders since i find it easier to make better looking characters, but more choice is always welcome

They shouldn't be mutually exclusive. I'd like to see new races and changes to improve the ones we have as well.

To be fair they only dropped the ball on the female au ra. The males look fine. It's especially curious that they did such a bad job after they did such an AMAZING job making femroes. So we know that they *can* design stronger females. They just didn't with the Au Ra for whatever reason.

What is your point? I'm not sure what bearing that has on them being designed as teenagers as opposed to the stronger succubus demoness design we were expecting, other than maybe saying something about the playerbase that I'm not sure is a compliment.

Well...can't complain much about dopplegangers myself. I have yet to see one clone of any of my characters. (Yours has different ears, too!)

As in all the other threads, I agree on expanding existing races over new races however, "unless" a potential new race would truly be something entirely new and not just another cosplaying human. But seeing as that's unrealistic...yeah. Moar options!
