No, Yoshida has explicitly stated when asked several Live Letters ago that he knows that these things are something that will need to be addressed eventually. Its not that they can't or won't do it, its that its not feasible to do when the game is operating on a severely limited platform that is holding it back. He already told us yesterday that inventory and armory chest space expansions will be there in 4.0 and this is more than enough evidence that they are going to drop PS3 support in 4.0.

And what does your post have to do with my argument? I didn't say they won't ever change those things, I said they won't respond to questions that they don't have answers to at present. It's like when the media ask a game developer when X game is coming out and they don't answer; it's not that they're deliberately ignoring the question to be spiteful, they just don't have a clear answer to give yet. The OP is complaining that his questions never get answered as though the devs are showing favouritism to a different segment of the community when the reality is simply that he wants answers that the devs simply don't have to offer.

Yes, we got some answers on some things yesterday. Do you know why we got those specific answers? Because the devs have finalised those specific plans and thus can offer us that information. If you feel like your questions are being ignored you should generally just assume that there isn't an answer to your question yet.

PS3 and low-end PCs are not holding the game back in the way that you believe. Expanding the inventory and armory chest is not something that is impacted by any 'limitation' of the PS3 or low end PCs. The issue with inventory and armory space is architecture related in terms of how the game holds character information in live memory and continually backs it up. Removing support for the PS3 (which is highly anticipated) will not alter that a single bit. I wish people would stop blindly blaming one platform or another for something when in fact is has little to nothing to do with the restriction being complained about.

@kosmos. Agreed, but I think it has to do with Yoshi specifically stating that these things are due to ps3 limitations.

You are entirely correct, but 2 things:

1.) Can you blame them? When Square has gone on record constantly blaming platform limitations?
2.) There's still plenty of things that are actually the fault of ps3 and low-end pcs that I'm looking forward to being addressed once they drop support.
