the crystal sand part is not even part of the anima grind, you get them five times faster than the eso items without any crafting.
this exactly, dude, i've just been buying an ass load of thavanarian mists and superior enchanted ink that i'm so ahead of myself on the crystal sands. got 5 stacked up and no umbrite. esoterics for umbrite is where the real grind is at.
39/240, always with 3 points on each umbrite/Crystal Sand
Don't waste your money. Just go pick up a battle leve @the foundation, don't even has to be the 10 leve it works just fine with the regular. Go to the dravanian hinterlands, initiate, look for a coffer to spawn, open and get 1 amber-encased vilekin. Abandon the leve, retry, initiate again. Rinse and repeat. Sure there are some occasions you do not get a treasure chest, but it's so simple and quick that you can just spam that. Especially if you have nothing else to do with your leves.
As for eso's, all roulettes of the day on a level 60 class, yields around 600-800 eso a day. Remember you get bonus when you have new players in the party etc. Then after that just spam the lvl 60 dungeons (new or old don't matter) If you have 3 friends its even faster than doing it via DF but works fine the other way too. You can easily get 2 eso caps (2k) per day if you are playing longer than 2 hrs that is.

Sorry I shouldn't have stated that so matter of factually. There's just been a few accounts of it over on reddit. Atm there's no hard proof or enough data to say it definitely happens this way.

Is the stance the guide is taking on it at the moment.
maybe unrelated (or not) is why the progress bar is split in two. It's bugging me xD
took me from December? to June to grind out the 80 items for relic, wondering whether I should just abandon the whole thing.
Now tonight I traded it all in.
Then 5 minutes later traded in my 5 Oils.
Then 5 minutes later I'm on the Sand quest, so I've caught up. Well, had 4 umbrites but getting there!
