Anyone who is against something like this (maybe not exactly this, but something to help lower leveled tanks) clearly hasn't played a brand new, low level tank character in a bit.

My brother, who has all jobs to 60 on his main and is a more than serviceable tank, started a gld alt out of boredom. Routinely he'd tell me that, even though he'd have the best gear for his level (dungeon drop rng not included) and he knew what to do, there'd be situations against level-synced dps where he had no chance at all of keeping aggro. I don't necessarily know if we need to give them their tank stance at 15 (I think it should be 30 for all of them), but something to help them seems like it would be nice. The last thing I want right now is more sprouts picking up tanks and putting them down because they felt like they were stressed and unable to tank properly.

I am a new player. My WAR here is my highest character. A few months ago I leveled a PLD to 35ish, then has to switch servers for a friend and leveled this guy up over the last few weeks.

I have to admit a tank stance would be a quality f life improvement, BUT I do not feel it is necessary at all. I did just fine in the leveling dungeons as both a GLD and MRD without it. Threat was rarely lost and survivability was decent. I had nothing but quest given gear and whatever merchant gear I could afford.

Okay, but it takes two seconds to learn how to tank correctly. I absolutely sucked at first...but then...I "got good" (I know I hate that phrase but it kind of applies to this situation)? By...you know, reading my skill set and observing other tanks and etc....the usual. The desire to tank is a masochist's wish at best and the journey to becoming a tank is one hell of a ride. Might as well cry a little too on the way to mastery. Honestly, if you're put down by a few mishaps when you start tanking, you really should think about switching your classes 'cause there's always going to be problems and issues, might as well get used to it. Sounds elitist or snobby but I feel it's the truth. The greatest musicians in the world didn't become the greatest by getting everything handed to them. Just put in the work and if ya' really wanted to tank, you'd be trying your best at learning how to tank correctly instead of trying to make it easy. I don't know, maybe I just like a good challenge and maybe I am that masochist who likes the pain of fighting for aggro at a low level (joke...I know how to tank).

Though all that being said, I could agree to maybe...an enmity enhancement for new tanks where GLD, MRD, or DRK are their first class/job. Help them get used to the system but I am against an implementation to release Tanks' tank stance at level 15.
