I can understand that, but there are also a lot of people who are completely caught up in content doing the relic as well. Just saying, having it be an option would be nice! You could feel free to use it for gear, or for relic. It would be your choice.

I don't disagree, I am just looking at it from their perspective.

I would prefer umbrite to be bought with lore as well as esoterics if anything. So many options for sand as it is .

I've heard that ARF is good for farming Esoterics for the Umrite. How are you guys that are speeding ahead doing it?

Not 100% sure about stats needed. But if you can get then, get 829+ collectability on a few of them, trade them in for blue scrips, use them for brute leeches, then go catch more. Brute leeches have a higher catch rate.

Has it happened to you that the Goblin Jig actually gives you a better Collectability rate more often than the Leeches do? I find that I get much higher chances of getting the 829+ with the Jig compared to the Leeches. I did an hour of fishing and I had more chances of breaking the 829 with the Jig on a normal fish instead of a Leech collectability. The leech ones always gave me low 400-600 unless it was HQ Power Shot.

The 3.3 step in the anima is extremely confusing to me since I dont craft or gather. Most of the items that are exchangeable for crystal sand, I have never seen before. I dont collect materia, or farm the ARR primals. So starting out, I have nothing to exchange. I liked the last 2 steps because I could just do dailies and buy the pieces with Esoterics. guess I have to start actually trying now.
