I am a bit confused on what companies are and what they will do. Explanation anyone? Or can someone direct me to a link with the explanation?

From what I've heard it is another "revolutionary" game mechanic that will alter how we play involving many linkshells and possibly player requested quests. Like guild leves that a player/players will make to accomplish something and offer the participants a reward for helping. This is speculation though and I really have no idea.

If Yoshi-P is really excited about it, it must be good (considering he has had to rework everything Tanaka did).
