Ideas for a new expansion

What if a new expansion makes us swim in the deep ocean ? It can happen in a different continent, like for example in the New World recently discovered, people wants us to investigate this new land. Then Cid creates a submarine because of the rumors that an ancient city had sunken in the sea. We find out that there is indeed a civilization living there (also, perfect way to introduce a new race, lore-wise )
We decide to ask Matoya if she can give us a potion that makes us breath under water (like in the first Final Fantasy, it was a gel if I remember well)
And here we have a new city-state, a new race, beautiful sub-marine exploration

As for the jobs : Pirate or Viking, Geomancer, Blue mage ?

Good call, but I picture it more like we finally have some good intel and a good chance to strike down The Horde, so we all set sail, but half way out into the sea our ship is sunk by a bunch of Naga. Then we can get that potion you speak about and an underwater sea horse mount. Sounds fun!
