    Since this thread is referring to this particular cutscene, was I the only one who thought that Alphinaud and the WoL were being super genre-blind in
    throwing the eyes over the bridge and thinking that was the end of it?


    Was not surprised at all at the developments that followed.

    Yeah me and a few FC members did it at the same time and we had a collective facepalm moment at the LotR moment.

    The eyes did not even have their glow anymore, so it was probably unnessecary. Could have just destroyed the eyes with some other method, instead of tossing them into an area where anyone with an airship or ability to teleport can go looking for them.
