Yes, but you'll need the entire left side though. That'll require 2,350 red scrips, which takes slightly over five weeks.

remember that caps are for specialist only, wo.. we need count the 20/20 from the soul.

right now my BSM have 883 (if i remember well) craftmanship and control 812 with 170 MT(penta) + 170 OT (single) + 170 Hands (PENTA) + 170 waist (PENTA) + 170 ringsx2 (PENTA) and the rest is just new 170 (omni double meld IV), i still need 3 acc 170 and im pretty sure i can pass the cap with out food, today i going to finish my set and going to post for show.

I did. Even with Soul of the Crafter's boost, you'll still need to meld 90% of the ilvl 170 sets or wait until you have the ilvl 200 in full. There is no way to reach the requirements with the ilvl 180.

ilvl180 was shit always, but may be im wrong but the cap 870/835 not looks hard to get. im pretty sure u can get it with my current set up . I need login for check and print screen :3

It really is. The only saving grace for those who already have it is to wait a few weeks and upgrade to the ilvl 200 set.

And just to correct myself above. Don't craft/buy the Carbonweave set. As you won't be able to advanced meld, the max stats are: 843/800. It's still doable with Beet Soup HQ, but you'll need 16 V materia. So yeah... I don't recommend it, xD

i understand but with 170 MT+OT (pentameld), full ACC 170 (pentameld) + waist 170 (penta) and the rest new omni 170 i think u can get the cap obviously + 20/20 from soul,

I think the bigger point is that it's a way to skip the pentamelding white pieces to get a decent/reliable 2 star HQ set. Especially with how easily favor mats drop in the treasure map dungeon, the carbonweave is a cheap and easy stop gap to make your own 170 set.

You're right. If you don't overmeld at all and use food, you'll just make the requirements. So the Carbonweave does have a use.
