Dooo.. Final Fantasy XI after Abyssea came out. Was the biggest nerf ever and the early death for a great Game.

Early death? It's my understanding the game is still running, and still has quite a few people playing it.

For some ppl it was the death of the Game yes.
You rarely see Player from the old CoP days, were CoP actually was challenging. Along the time when you were happy about 25k a hour. The Time when it needed Skill to kill HNM's or actually AV was considered as "Impossible" to kill. ( If you didnt do it with the Wallglitch ). The Time when Tenzen was a true challenge and it took Month to get a Job up to 75. The time when ppl needed Years to finish their first Relic. By the announcement of Abyssea and the nerf of the SP/Hour and a lot of other nerfings, a lot of "Old-school" HNMLS' dissapeard as a whole right away.

Well no duh, I only had an 85 summoner. I found nothing wrong with Abyssea.

Gogo Easy Mode.. good for you that you liked it. I know tons of people which didnt like it.
