    SE either needs to release content at a decent speed (5-6 dungeons and 1-2 raids per 2 month update) or they need to make the content in game last longer.
    Your whole post is absolutely redudent as its very flawed, not all players want to get rank 50 on all and do everything.

    Infact I've only got 1 50, i have zero interest in levelling the rest, so does that mean its game over for me? I could go do all the content now and be done with it, doesnt mean i wouldnt stop playing. I'd play to help friends, chill out or do some of the never ending things such as materia or make gil.

    Levelling is only content if you see it is. If its the only thing you are used to doing, times have changed and people dont want to spend their gaming days just getting their numbers higher by killing the exact same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. People want to enjoy things, dont force them down a dull road.

    If people want to cap out they can, but guess what, They could before! People have been doing it since release, no matter what levelling system because at the end of the day if you're determined to hit rank 50 on all or you have a goal set, you are going to do it! Regardless of the SP system. Just one system will either make it slower or faster than another.

    Think about it logically, also please know that low level it stinks. Whats it matter about 40-50? Ya pretty much capped anyway.

    They added chains for this reason. You must understand most of us who played XI, a) weren't into the fatigue b) hated not being able to level when we want c) hated mobs gave less sp/exp than guildleve mobs.
    THEY HAVE FIXED ALL OF THIS!
    GET OVER IT.
    I LIKE IT NOW.

    It encourages party play now because you automatically receive more exp for grinding mobs. You will learn your class better grinding mobs with people then you will solo right? So more opportunities for people to actually learn how to play their class in a group before getting r45 when group content matters. SO now leveling is easier only in that its faster, meaning more people can get to 45 to do this content. I personally have a semester going on right now, and these are the most important semesters I have pre going to law school, leaving not that much time to play. Now the hours I do spend grinding mean more. I've literally played this game since OB and my thm 45 is my highest rank because I have school that takes over 40 hours of my week per week. With this new leveling the couple hours I can play xiv will mean just so much more.

    In XI I believe abyssea killed that game, but for xiv I'd take a system like abyssea, which the original abyssea zones with the lights and such, and without pages, were much harder than xiv's leveling still.

    The thing that is also important is this xp also helps us with spiritbond and thus materia. So it's good that we are getting so much so we can make materia.

    I like the xp gain, there was a dip with 1.18 like Yoshi-P said there was going to be and people complained, now it's been raised (which was needed) and people complain. Damn'd if you do, damn'd if you don't...

    I NEVER said that it should have been raised from the last patch. All in all, I thought it could have been reduced some. I just hope that with the rate you can rank up now, people will atleast know how to use their abilities at r50... I hope >.>

    I know that a lot of this discussion revolves around chain bonuses for killing mobs in a group, but I want to chime in regarding my brief solo experience last night. The first thing I noticed about my LV 26 CNJ (Conjurer is CNJ now, right?) is that LV 26 mobs put up a fight. Killing a mob of the same level wasn't exactly hard, but it's more interesting because I have to pay attention now.

    The fight took longer, but I noticed that I was awarded quite a bit more experience than I was before the patch. That made me really happy--I felt like I was being awarded appropriately for what I did. EXP gain was increased, but fights were slightly longer and more interesting.

    Again, this only reflects the limited experience I've had so far with the patch. I'm not ready to make a final judgement on the EXP and battle changes in 1.19, but I like them so far.

    This patch requires you to put more attention and thinking before engaging enemies...I said with pre 1.19 gear never bother solo mob that 2lvl or more higher than your level... any reports on buffs now? do they more effective or just same as before

    It also didn't help that fact that people at level 20 had 10000000 VIT and MND (dramatization) and 15-18 in all other stats...now you actually have working stats so your gonna have to work for that exp!
