Perhaps an unpopular opinion - but they nerfed the way into Ishgard. Isn't it fitting that people have to demonstrate some competency to finish the story? If you always tailor content to be insta-cleared, with death hardly even being a threat except for major errors, how are players supposed to improve?

That said, it popping up in roulette will make it about as popular as the original steps of faith. Even though it has no tower mechanic and is simply dodging, stacking, and completing a minor dps check. I'd like to think SE didn't make it a typical story faceroll right off the bat because they didn't want a faceroll finale. And, once completed, I found it much more satisfying than the earlier Nidhogg fight at the Aery dungeon.
