Why isn't housing priced higher? (why is housing random luck)

I'm not going to move to a dead server just so I can have a house. Moving to Balmung was the best decision I ever made with this game. NOTHING will make me go back to my original server. I will happily pay someone else for a house once I amass the amount of gil for it.

S.E didn't create a horrible feature though. Its a problem the player created. S.E didn't force you or the masses of players on a handful of servers to lump together. The players did that, and now the players are paying for it.

Wait, what? The players decided not to make personal housing instanced and place it in the same zones as FC housing? You learn something new everyday, don't you.
