FFXII Seasonal event. Can we have it?!

Just as with the Lightning event, if they ever want to promote a new sequel to FFXII, there's a decent chance there could be an FFXIV tie-in.

The Lightning event wasn't just for funsies - it was a marketing gimmick to bring folks' attention to the FFXIII: Lightning Returns sequel.

They won't do a FFXII crossover unless there's some serious FFXII project in the works - and I rather doubt that at this point they have anything more planned for that game...

i would kill a thousand times for a sequel, i'm still hoping on the remaster

I hope for a veteran's reward or event in some fashion. FFXII was a great game that is SEVERELY overlooked by Final Fantasy fans for it's deviation from the typical "FF formula". :/

eh, dunno how people can say that with a straight face when XI came before it and that was a deviation from single player formula. Then again idiots ignore the FF MMO's and don't include them because they think it's "not real Final Fantasy" whatever that means.

and just seen on the FF portal on my tablet, that FFXII zodiac Age HD remaster is coming out for the ps4, so we might just gett a cross over event, why? because i am the leading man of course, really cant wait to play it again. what are the chances lol

If there ever will be a FFXII seasonal event, chances are they will not bring Balthier and Fran in (or any of the FFXII cast). Neither have the ability to manipulate the void, nor have multi-dimensional(?) magics, after all (though if they did visit, they'd have to make mention of 'visiting a strange new world' in the game they're from. Shantotto in FFXI vaguely mentions her vacation to Eorzea, for example).
