FFXII Seasonal event. Can we have it?!

Considering that Mobius Final Fantasy just had a FFXII event with Judgemaster job I would say a collaboration is likely in FFXIV closer to the release of FFXII HD remaster. It would be so cool to have Judgemaster gear in FFXIV.

Balthier is the greatest thing to happen to the Final Fantasy series since Final Fantasy VI and this is coming from someone who has yet to finish 12.

We had that dragon quest, two FF11 events, lighting returns and also getting Yokai watch event, so I hope FF12 will also have an event.

Considering that we gotten FF9 re-released some time ago and no event was held for it here, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Exactly, and on that same note, the HD versions of FFX/X-2 and Type-0 came and went without any crossover events appearing in FFXIV either. Even the FFXIII event was not restored for a fourth time when the PC release of FFXIII/XIII-2/LR-FFXIII was launched recently.

Don't be so quick to assume SE will automatically do a crossover event just because FFXII HD has been announced. It would be great if they do, but I really think that this is highly unlikely to happen I'm sorry to say.

I'd really like getting Balthier's outfit in some fashion, but given past precedents, a veteran reward is looking a lot more likely than a cross-over event. (I'd really like Vayne's or Larsa's outfits, too, but I don't see that as likely to happen from any source.)

FFXV, on the other hand, does look much more promising. I expect we're likely to get a cross-over event from it, and I'd look forward to that one (even though it would mean tearing myself away from the actual FFXV long enough to do the cross-over here).

Crossover events aren't planned and tend to be something negotiated spontaneously. The XIII event was discussed when Yoshi P met the XIII director at a convention, the dragon quest and XI events were to celebrate milestones for games that are important to Yoshi P and the Xiv playerbase, and yokai watch came about from the friendship of Yoshi P and the Ceo of level 5.

Yeah... kind of find it unlikely we'll get an event for FFXII much like we didn't get one for FFX/X-2 and Type-0, however think we might get one for at least FFXV and maybe... FFVII for just being overwhelming popular. Also definitely could see outfits being a thing and a bit surprised there aren't more around, they can keep main character outfits to vet rewards, but other characters could at least be added to something like the Gold Saucer. >.<
