I'm still confused :/ please don't bully me .
Could someone please be kind enough to summarise everything about crafting. Life is hard

It's ok. *hug*
My recent post:
Alright. Let's clear some stuff up. This is MY guesswork so take it as you will.
i170 gear --> This is the crafted stuff. They made it i170 which is the bare minimum for grade V melding, which ticks me off a lil but no matter I'll sitll meld my gathering gear.
i190 gear --> This is the lower tier red script gear. Yes I know it's odd theres i190 and i200 untradable gear but the difference being ths i190 will not require the goblin shit we will need to trade our red scripts for.
i200 gear --> Our upgraded versions of our current red script gear. This is the same as before: crafted was i150 and the best untradable was i180. 30 ilvls above only this time we'll have grade V materia to pump into our crafted stuff.
i195 tools --> New tools using 3.2 mats. Be thankful if you saved up mats like I did and that once again us high end gatherers can make a lot of gil off this stuff. Like holy crap this stuff is gonna sky rocket.
i190 accessories --> If I recall these are craftable? As I understood they weren't gonna add new accessories and belts until 3.4... Thanks for the heads up SE. It's a shame I spent over 30m on my i170 melds(700 GP and no I didn't go the cheap route and sacrifice a crap ton of gather/perception)
And yes, we can't use our stockpile of red script tokens to get the new gear and materials for said gear. Both you and I were naive to think SE would allow us to make use of our red script tokens from the get-go, giving us access to the ALL of the new stuff on day one.(you know who i'm talking to, I aint throwing this statement at EVERYONE(yeah, I had to clarify, cus ppl on forums can be idiots))
This patch looks fun. Lots of gil to be made in both the housing sector and the gathering and crafting front and even the battle front with the dreadwyrm replica gear. A very nice QoL update.
Now. The current red script crafting gear has been moved to blue scripts, as well as gathering. you can exchange red script tokens for craft IV materia, as well as gathering tokens for gathering materia.
The current red script gear will be able to be upgraded to i200 with a new red script token, goblin cup/dice and you get this goblin stuff through red scripts(not tokens).
Any other questions?

I recall this being mentioned too, but I don't remember seeing it in the patch notes and wasn't confident enough that its real to mention it in my post.
I dont think the i190 gear is craftable, seeing as it's not anywhere in the recipe list within the patch notes.. There is however i190 accessories in the recipe list.ilvl 170 gear --> this is the new craftable catch-up gear, not class restricted, easy to get materials
ilvl 190 gear --> this is the new best in slot craftable gear, needs a lot of 3 star mats and another possibly restricted mat (luminous fiber --> glass fiber)
ilvl 195 tools --> same as ilvl 190, but needs less mats
ilvl 190 accessories --> they already told us they were going to add new accessories in the last live letter
rlly dont know where ur getting some of ur information.

Yes, it's written in the patch notes.
1 Red token can be exchanged for either:
- 1 Blue token
- 1 Grade IV materia
Blue tokens are now used for getting the old ilvl 180 "red scrip" gear.
Mm sounds like bad translation memory from folks watching LL30 stream. On the official LL30 recap thread they clarify "In Patch 3.3, we'll introduce every piece of equipment for the crafted version, but for red scrips version, the secondary tool, belt, and accessories will be added later in Patch 3.4."i190 accessories --> If I recall these are craftable? As I understood they weren't gonna add new accessories and belts until 3.4... Thanks for the heads up SE. It's a shame I spent over 30m on my i170 melds(700 GP and no I didn't go the cheap route and sacrifice a crap ton of gather/perception)
"Red scrips version" being the set you buy solely through tokens+receipt, not the meldable crafted stuff.
