Tried to do an expert the other day on WHM.

Even with my regular DPS with holy spam enemies were dying extremely slow. I noticed the BLM never used Enochian and I have no idea what the other DPS was doing.

We got to the first boss and it was dying the slowest I've EVER seen. We started dying to the Frog Song because the adds were not dying fast enough and I am frogged and cannot heal.

I still see the BLM (when he bothers to cast, sometimes he just stands there) not using Enochian at all and only using the 2.0 rotation. So I type to him quickly "why don't you use Enochian at all? It's okay if you aren't perfect at it but at least try to use it to help damage". I couldn't pinpoint what the other DPS was doing wrong so I didn't ask them anything at the time.

We manage to kill the frog boss after FIVE frog song rotations....I've only ever seen 2-3 before and the BLM finally responds to me and you know what he says?

"I don't have that"

"I don't have that"??????????????

....What?

So my natural response was "You're...a 60 BLM you must have it"

BLM: I don't

BRD: didn't you do your job quests?

BLM: to level 50 yes

Me: You..didn't do ANY of the 50-60 job quests?

BLM: no

I am pretty tolerant 99% of the time. Sometimes people just cross that hard to cross 1% where I can't tolerate anymore. I don't mind if people are learning etc; if they are just actively trying to play correctly its fine by me but I just couldn't deal with this level of ignorance at the time I was tired and I lost some faith here and just hurriedly apologized to the group that I was too tired to continue and ate the penalty to leave.

I don't mind helping people but what do you even say to help someone that is that oblivious? He had other jobs 55+ too and was decent ilevel on BLM so he's been playing all this time and missing 5 whole spells/abilities....I can't even...mind blown.

Quite some time ago, I was running Trial roulette on my Warrior. Ravana HM popped up.
Everything was going okay, I was off-tanking, a couple of swords appeared but that's manageable. One dps fell off when he did his knockback, then we wiped.
Second try, again there's like 2 or 3 swords if I remember correctly. After Bloody Fuller, I automatically gain aggro, and Ravana starts doing massive cleaves on me.

One of the healers was standing right behind me. He was taking huge damage, and after every hit he had to heal himself. I couldn't move the boss because if I turned it I would hit the entire party. So we wiped, as the healer couldn't keep himself up and he died, and then everybody else died to other mechanics.

Told him to not stand in the cleave, and then he went on a huge rant about how everybody else was bad because "I've personally never had a problem with this fight". Shortly afterwards, a DPS aggroed Ravana while the MT and I were watching, then people voted to abandon.

That was a painful read, I can't even wrap my head around it, like why? xD

more then you think dont take their job quests after 50, and this affects all classes.

Did Brayflox with a friend last night. Things went smoothly until the last leg of the dungeon, when the tank wanted to do the couerl boss for the ring. The MCH wasn't pleased and ran off to Aiatar, triggering the cutscene whilst we were in the combat. I got a bit annoyed, but simply said "dude" because maybe they did it by mistake? Nope. MCH responded with this:

"yeah"
"no"
"waste your own time pls"

Mind you, the tank didn't do anything to make the run slower, and the couerl boss doesn't take that long to kill. But it did because the MCH refused to help us. So first, they complain we're wasting time, then they end up wasting more time? Congratulations. You played yourself. Anyways we votekicked them afterwards, and got a nice BRD. Finished the dungeon with little trouble.

Anyways. I'm sorry, but please don't ever do this. You're just wasting more time for yourself and being unfair to others in your party.

I'm sorry but this was 100% the fault of the rest of you. How dare you make/enable reasonable requests.

I got kicked out of Brayflox for asking the Astrologist why he didn't level conjurer to get the protect skill.I had a dragoon laugh at me in the Vault when i asked him why they didn't use heavy thrust entire run.I've had a ninja tell my ninja i should go back to playing monk after them trying to solo their seperate mob from tank every pull and not useing trick attack one single time but instead useing sneak attack.(even on bosses).
