Ninja: Heaven-Sword (And Beyond)

Thanks for posting Orange. I had been wondering if Ninja lore gear was any good as it is not the case with some jobs.
Currently i have lore weapon and chest, some accesories ( as i also use on Bard and machinist) and also some midan gear.

Also i though Ninja would benefit from SS does it not?
I mean obviously not a huge amount because tp issues still exist :/

Ninja does not benefit from SS all that much, due to GCD clipping from mudras and double weaving oGCDs, as well as serious TP issues. I'm at ~500 SS and I already have TP problems in long fights with no downtime like A7S.

Also, it is worth noting that this guide is rather out dated, and even the gdoc version is missing a fair bit, like openers, fight-specific strats, when to hold buffs etc.

Is Goad advised to (Mostly) "On request" incase someone dies, or it's just rude, while in a raid I can understand this, but if it's just dungeons, is it just rude to goad a fellow TP chewer for more AoE O.o?

If other dps are running low on tp or tank is, i always use goad. Only time i do no goad another dps is they are being stupid like using aoe attacks on 1 or 2 enemies, they can run dry on tp in that case...
There are times were goad is not even needed at all, it's a judgement call.

question for ninja mains:

How do you pull in Hummelfaust? Do you use the same opener, or do you change things up? I'd imagine you do something differently since you have two Fausts to deal with. I also imagine in might change with the new AOE buffs on Tuesday.

I dot up both fausts, then use my normal rotation on the priority target. I save all my CDs for Hummelfaust, since the enrage is based solely on him and not the 2 fausts. Only thing that will change as of tuesday is that I will use katon over fuma/raiton on the 2 fausts.

Also, this far into the patch, gear should make that mini-fight a total joke anyway.

I just do my normal opener till duality on the first Faust and put my dots on the second one afterwards. switch back to the first to finish it off and do the same with the second one. Then I just use everything as it comes on Hummelfaust.

Still experimenting on the timing of OGCDs and buffs but...
for the Fausts:
F1 → Spinning Edge
F2 → Shadow Fang > Mutilate
F1 → Danding Edge Combo » Aeolian Edge Combo > Spinning Edge
F2 → Shadow Fang »» ...

F1 will be almost dead by the time the second SF happens, if you wanna continue hitting it, its fine, but I wouldn't recommend using DoTs on the first Faust.
