This part is still incorrect after all that editing:
But now, of course, you need to be healed back up so you can take the next big hit. Your PLD is missing 4800 HP. Let's say you've got WHM that cure1's for 1200 a pop. Naturally this will take 4 cures to cap you back up. But what about our poor Warrior, who's missing 6000 HP? Well, thanks to Defiance's healing bonus, each 1200 HP cure1 now becomes 1500 HP healed. Miraculously, this divides into 6000 giving us an even 4 cures to take you back to full HP"
Hahaha that it is! That's actually pretty embarrassing that I missed such basic math. I'm just gonna leave that there as punishment until after this wedding event tomorrow. Going to make one slight edit however.
I'm going to get this right I swear! My integrity is on the line. Plus I hate leaving misinformation lol.

I'm a fairly new healer and my first dungeon (sastasha) last week was hectic. It was a newbie dark knight, and even though I said it was my first dungeon healing, still pulled everything. He took so much damage, that it was hard to heal him. Since then, I've had no problems healing, warrior and paladin are great, but dark knights are still scary.

Bad Dark knights are byfar the hardest to heal IMO. The problem being the whole class attracted people who like to do more damage and new ones tend to face roll the keyboard without hitting cooldowns, while staying in DPS stance and making the healer cry.

It doesn't help that you need to be pushing significantly more buttons than the other tanks at all times if you want to be effective, and a lot of people playing this game are struggling to push buttons with simpler jobs already.
Excuse me as an experienced Dark Knight all I do is faceroll over my 9 defensive cooldown buttons.
I occasionally hit Unleash, but that's a mistake.
Don't hate the faceroll!
EDIT:
When I'm healing, I find it hardest to heal a warrior, because I expect them to heal passively from IB or using bloodbath and make my job easier.....but they never do.
They never do.
Paladins and Dark Knight's get treated like china dolls, so many heals to make sure every little scratch is taken care of, the poor things.

A scrub warrior will stick out like a sore thumb real early, they just sit on their wrath stacks so you see that nice "V" on their buff list sadly fall off each time.
Whereas you as the healer will cry a tear that it could have been an easy IB to self-heal and mitigate. For gosh sakes, it's the only cooldown you can use wrath on at level 35. To get to level 50+ and still not using it shows how much they probably fate grinded their way not knowing how to use such an awesome CD. I would focus target one just to see this myself. I'd even at-times politely say use your stacks as they become available. I don't know, people probably don't quite make the cut for jobs that require stack management and tanking at the same time. You see the five stacks, your IB button lights up. You have Infurate which is an awesome toolbox at 50 that gives you instant 5 stacks. It's not hard.
Never mind you won't see Thrill or the awesome Vengeance show up either, the latter basically slaps the mob while it mitigates.

Or that 210 DRK that CONSTANTLY loses hate to dps. I play DRK and think, "why does everyone hate this job, its great and plays well and is fun!" Then I go to dps a roulette with a DRK tank then think "oh, thats why."

Generally any tank who cannot hold threat or who bites off more than they can chew. I'm not super-geared (yet) but I can hold most of the groups I join. Once in a while, you'll get some under-geared hero who wants to do large pulls then blames me because he got blasted.

Had one the other day going as black mage, they still had a Deathbringer, blatantly said Darkside was useless to have up for trash. Welp. You know where this is going if you can play DRK to a respectable level.
I mean how can anyone be okay doing -20% damage instead of -5% for little effort? Was out of MP constantly cause they had (or recklessly i should say) to spam Unleash instead of Syphon Striking to MP recover lol. Barely living on a blood price prayer.
DRK is the easiest tank job to hold AoE hate, but these subpar to poor 60s still fumble with it. It's possible they get away with it because they could be playing with subpar DPS leveling up and when they hit 60, you start to see geared, good, DPS show up to the party. Now they are wetting their pants because their slouch play is finally catching up to bite them.
I tried to help but you know how some people are with advice given, when it wasn't even threatening. You would think you can listen to someone if you are huffing over how dry your MP is constantly. Oh the struggle some people have with the HW "more button" jobs.
