I prefer those Allagan and High Allagan gear than Dreadwyrm. Also why they didn't make all gear including Crystal Tower's gear dyeable. Another "need much data to store" excuse?

Af2 dyable is not enough. Because in a week or two it'll be added, perhaps in 3.1 as drop in new 'CT' quest.. And so, a peasant gear again.Yes to making the old raid gear dyeable, but to put the augment items for obsolete raid gear in the current hardest content available? I actually don't need to ask what bad weed you're smoking, because I have a pretty good idea, but no.
People who get Alexander (Savage) on farm already have access to the highest-level gear available way earlier then us scruffy casuals, not to mention the only means of dying the AF2 sets, so asking for more perks to raiding then there are right now is basically the same as asking SE to make the entire world revolve around you, not just 90% of it. Leave the remaining 10% to the rest of us, please.
ALSO... Dreadwyrm > AF2.
We can't compare a dyable Dreadwyrm with a dyable AF2... Example, imagine dying white the dreadwyrm robe of casting or... the lame AF2 of the BLM, it's terrible.
The point is, AF2 dyable will come very soon to the main stream, while only gordias gear will remain to that 5%... But gordias gear is F**** ugly.

Carboncoat Upgrade Dreadwyrm Jewelry.
Carbontwine Upgrade Dreadwyrm Armor.
Encrypted Tomestone Upgrade Dreadwyrm Weapon.
All to be dyeable? ilvl150 level 55
Same with the other coil stuff. =)
This will get people back into Crystal Tower.
Why should a lv 50 gear drop in a lv 60 raid?
Only possible way is if the upgrade to dyeable also upgrade the level to level 60.
Then there is still the problem that Bahamut (the theme of Dreadwyrm gear) have nothing to do with Alexander.
Just wait until we get another dragon themed raid.

Sacred bump. I saw 3.3, I saw a video with dyed dreadwyrm... I... I...
I SMELL ANOTHER "PAY TO SECRET BLACK MARKET TO GET YOUR ARMOR, THROW WHATEVER YOU HAVE IN YOUR INVENTORY" (It's called High Allagan Replica right now) REPLICA.
Please, tell me it'll be that all my dreadwyrm gear will become dyable, please, please.....

And so it comes down to a serious elitist not wanting people to have access to dyable raid gear, from a raid that is obsolete and can be rolfstomped through.
I think you basically destroyed and creedence your argument had by showing your true reason behind this thread.
I hope they add dyable dreadwyrm gear in game the way they have done with allagan and high allagan gear. If they do, guess what i will do doing? Well its the same as i did with replica allagan gear and high allagan gear. I am going to help people get those items they need to make them. These people i am going to help are not raiders more often than not. But guess what, i dont care. I may have done all this content in progression, but i dont give a damn if those i help have or have not downed this content before.
Get over yourself.
Is the Dreadwyrm gear even considered all that glamorous to wear anymore? (pls pardon the dumb pun)
As with anything in this game, there is a pattern to the dev's thoughts and it's not super difficult to think about. If I would to imagine, I'd think they could just go through everything ever we use glamour prisms on during a particular timeframe (I've seen charts of that type of data they have published...and that's just what they are showing us so they must have tons more). Then they could just rank them and see what is getting used more. I would think the Allagan gear had a lot of data backing up that it was a popular glamour if not one of the most popular non-dyeable ones (also it's older so more data).
I'm just thinking out loud here so I may be wrong of course.
I don't see why anyone would get mad over Dreadwyrm gear being able to be dyed. It's not like anyone is going to invite you to their current savage raid team if purely on your aesthetic of using Dreadwyrm for glamour.

The Dreadwyrm gear does look pretty awesome. I never understood the obsessions with high Allagan gear, I always felt it looked like people grew really weird looking tumours all over their body. Tight, form fitting, and ugly as hell is not a good combination.
