Ppl hated the colour scheme for the dreadwyrm gear lol but loved the golden wings cuz it made them feel cool & edgy lol.
" hey look at me! I have wings oooooooo so cool "
No thnx, dreadwyrm had its time. Now its gordian gear.
Ew.
IMO dreadwyrm gear is ugly af. Butt wings were everywhere. Please SE, never again.
Buuuuut, the wings! ... How come some people prefers a lot more high allagan instead dreadwyrm?!..... Geez... I guess that... For tastes the colors, never better said? x'3....
Seriously though, after having all my dreadwyrm drops I just don't feel like using ANYTHING else.... (Perhaps summoner esoteric gear.) But, not even law-esoteric, HW progression gear, alexander gear, nothing is just good enough for me like dreadwyrm was... And the golden details are just so awesome in my opinion that could fit very nice in other colors than ugly purple.
As for, again, the reason to make it drop in alexander even if it has nothing to be with, it's because it'd be nice to have it in difficult content, right now ANYONE can just go undersized and do a lot of FCOB so damn easily....+ 20% echo...
OLD signature is OLD... Meh, too nostalgic to change anyways.

Yes to making the old raid gear dyeable, but to put the augment items for obsolete raid gear in the current hardest content available? I actually don't need to ask what bad weed you're smoking, because I have a pretty good idea, but no.
People who get Alexander (Savage) on farm already have access to the highest-level gear available way earlier then us scruffy casuals, not to mention the only means of dying the AF2 sets, so asking for more perks to raiding then there are right now is basically the same as asking SE to make the entire world revolve around you, not just 90% of it. Leave the remaining 10% to the rest of us, please.
OP i cant agree with you the Dreadwyrm is the worst looking gear in the game to me. High Allagan looked the best
You're kidding, right?
Do you have any idea how many people have not even been able to get to the 2ND CoB because of no static groups, never mind Final Coil? Not to mention, even if they do manage to get a group that will stick together, they need to practice every fight's mechanics until they finally beat w/e turn they are working on.
This isn't quite right anymore. A team of 4 on current tome gear (law not even esoterics) can absolutely crush all of coil before t7 much less a group of 8. That is unless proficiency is so low group wide that you can't meet checks at level 60 in which case I don't think "no static" is your problem. You're kidding, right?

Dreadwyrm gear is old now. And on your server (zodiark) not many people do Fcob actually. There are not really much raiders on this server. Why care if dread should be on hard content?
The ability to dye the gear shouldn't be tied to anything at all... it should just come with the gear.Yes to making the old raid gear dyeable, but to put the augment items for obsolete raid gear in the current hardest content available?
