    I am, and I'm afraid you just have bad luck.

    I've had many times when I've had a 95% to 99% to mine something and its failed 3 times in a row, its annoying sure but its nothing to get riled up about.

    I've had many times when I've been crafting and HQing at 1%.

    Its all down to luck and whether Lady Luck smiles or not is random and getting riled up about it is just utterly pointless.

    Best RNG: 24% chance to gather, 2% to HQ. Four successful gathers, three came out HQ. Worst possible RNG, 98 % chance to HQ, comes out nq. It's just luck and a roll of the dice. RNG is fine.

    A max level crafter failing a low level craft is cause they failed it themselves. Two, I have never failed a 98% high quality 8 times in a row.

    I'm an omnicrafter in the sense that I have three characters to cover every single specialist. This does happen every now and then, but doesn't happen A LOT.

    As for how, according to you, it's not possible to design the reward around the content, do you even know what the reward from the 7th room is?
    It's a guaranteed drop of multiple grade V materia, and every player in the group receives 100,000 gil

    If getting to the 7th room didn't involve RNG in its base design, without the rewards being altered, that'd mean the game would generate 800k with every opened portal.
    If you don't see any issue here, then you're the one that's been sleeping through this entire discussion.

    indeed we are not into a hack'n'slash, but i feel the way square enix do the thing get soo much wrong. for get a whole set of equipement via token? about 11 week.... but at the same time we do have a lot of different job. what the point to make player spend almost 3 month for equip one jobs?
    i will go farer, do player will be more inclined to played tank if they can equip it and still equip them main job?
    naturally with the token+raid normal it possible to equip fairly correctly 2 jobs. we can argue about the raid 24 that can allows you to equip the other not soo badly.... but do it's what the player want?

    let's go farer, some people can't complete some hard content, before be full stuff, it's not new, right? then if people was getting them loot a bit faster, not extremely fast, do it will not allows more people to do savage raid?

    make the loot rare is not the bast solution always, it work in a game like wow, where you play only one jobs. here is not the case, everything wow did create around the loot, can't and must'nt be used for FF14 that use a multi class system. but i can say this, i'm sure a lot of people will say i'm a dumber and such, but admit what iam saying is not that false and hold a bit of truth that need to be think over.

    The stuff dropping from Aquapolis isn't going to be class specific gear. If it drops like candy, the content will be stale in a week.

    I'm afraid the loot has no bearing on how "stale" content becomes. The content is gonna grow stale quickly no matter what, the rewards are there so you do it anyway, despite it being stale.

    The Aquapolis is very similar to the treasure chests, so the loot will likely be:
    Gil - presumably random amount from non-goblin rooms, 100k from the 7th room.
    Crafting mats - the ones dropped during the live letter had the same icon as red scrip mats, but they could be different mats. Probably some rare mats for glamour stuff, too.
    Grade IV/V materia - guaranteed from the rare rooms and the 7th room.
    Minions - The baby opo-opo was mentioned during the live letter, probably a few others as well (both new and old ones)

    yeah, I guess everyone is taking the wrong approach about Aquapolis. Just consider it as a random change to get up to 7 bonus chests

    Also I swear by the 12 Yoshi P., if we don't get that outfit and pose from the beginning of the letter I'm going to put my keeper fangs to use
