Maybe factor in the third healer into your OP and you may get a better picture.

SCH and Noct AST are there to do the mitigation where it is needed.

WHM and Diurnal AST are there to do the bulk of the healing.

Give WHM both higher throughput of heals (which they have already over AST) and better mitigation than Diurnal AST, then you have less reason to take a Diurnal AST over WHM.

Nah, we are not saying that whm shouldn't have it, but less strong then what a sch can do. Same for us, we only have two aoe heals and way less strong than what whm can do. It's fine this way ya know. ^^

Then I think we're saying pretty much the same thing. I don't think an 18% stoneskin is anywhere near the mitigation potential that a scholar can do.

Yeah never did understand why they nerfed this to begin with. Even at 18% it was sub-par to use in combat.
