New gold saucer event?

I'm just curious if they housing item will light up whenever a new GATE starts and dim when it ends, I know they start every 15 after and 45 after, but easy to get distracted sometimes.

I find all the complaining in this thread funny because I was absolutely thrilled to see we're getting a new emote.

How is that lame or not enough? It's an emote that will be exclusive to you if you're subbed at this time. Everyone else will have to pay for it and you're getting it for merely being subbed at the time.

It's an event. We have several of them a year. I would rather get a few small things for events than less content for patches....

And I'm sure the seasonal events don't take that much time in development that it would take content out of patches.
Plus, they help break up the monotony of the game in between patches, even if the events only last an hour or two for most of us. >w>

Thinking about it, wouldn't it have been smarter to put this event further in between patches, instead of starting 12 days before the patch?
That way, if people get burnt out from the grinding (which there is going to be grinding, let's be honest), they at least have the event to distract them.
And it ends 3 days after the patch is playable. Minus the 24 hours for the patch maintenance, that's only 14 days... >w>

It's better than nothing. Personally I'm happy that we're getting an additional emote - and the 50% MGP bonus will be very useful. I suspect that 3.3 may add a few new items to the MGP vendor.

I just got Fenrir, but I'm now on my G7 chocobos.. Earning quite a bit from raising them. A bonus to help pay for the final feeds would be nice..
