Well it's definitely a more interesting take on a job I'd otherwise find absolutely unimaginative. That being said, its lack of overall balance and more concise spell names on top of a weapon system which would never really happen in this game unfortunately make this particular Samurai concept merely a flight of fancy (which is honestly how I think the typical Samurai stereotype should be).

On the plus side, it does actually raise an interesting question of what exactly will the devs draw influence from in the creation of Samurai. Although there are more than enough elements from the history around Japan and the multiple images that come to mind, it also wouldn't be the first time that manga or anime sources would be a point of inspiration for job development.
