Today I got bullied in Alex 8 normal. Someone said that I did 600 dps. I almost cry.

My A8 yesterday was... ugh. Was there on BLM along with three friends (dragoon, WHM, AST), and I must confess that I suck at the Brute Justice phase. I either loose Enochian all the time or I kiss the ground like two or three times, but this time, neither happened! Whee! Unfortunately one of the warriors seemed to have never heard of tank swaps which overstrained the healers, one of the adds always exploded, people didn't stack for the double laser in the phase with the four A6 robots, and our dragoon was running a parse for himself and noticed the other BLM doing 600 DPS. But the biggest problem was: When we wiped, the MT just pulled again as soon as they had Protect, and after we wiped a second time, the OT started vote abandon which went through. Instead of, dunno, TALKING about what went wrong? Please, communication is a thing.

Yes, I reported her and a GM came to talk to me.

Not sure if she actually use a parser or just made it up to make fun of me but... is 600 dps even possible? unless someone want to do low damage on purpose or just way too undergeared.

It is, for example if you chat while in combat, or if you just don't have a clue about your rotation. I didn't get the chance to watch the BLM in my A8 run too closely, but I noticed that they had long pauses between their casts, and I have barely seen them have Enochian active. And the lack of Enochian is a huge DPS loss as you have to do the level 50 rotation pretty much rather than the level 60 one. So I think the 600 DPS my dragoon friend talked about was realistic.

Can't say too much about ninja tho.

Do my roulette tonight and get paired with a WAR, SMN, DRG and im the SCH. The whole run, the DRG would keep pulling the mobs and would randomly open the chests when there is still trash mobs. They would also never move from AOEs and kept almost dying because he still had lvl 56-58 gear. I kept telling to please avoid them and all he said was: "im watching netflix with the wife, not paying attention just here for tomes"

Should have vote kicked him so he wouldn't get any tomes. DRGs are easily replaced in DF.

Did ARF for Mentor Roulette. On the first boss, you know how he summons those turrets that you have to destroy or they explode? That usually only happens twice (single turret, then two turrets).

It happened 6 times. SIX. Each time other than the first, they exploded and killed both DPS. We only got through because I kept myself and the tank alive and ressed in between explosions

now working on getting Paladin to 50. Get Brayflox normal for levelling roulette. Waiiit a second, why is there a big axe on my back?. Welp, I accidentally signed up as WAR instead, which I haven't played in ages... Took me a bit past the first boss to get the hang fully back on, and there were a few close calls, but no one died. So everything went better than expected I guess

Another day, another levelling roulette. Brayflox again. Other 3 members are all French, fellow Miqo'te and one of them a Lancer. He gets asked why he doesn't have his crystal on, but newer responded and generally played like a LolDragoon. Or LolLancer in this case I guess? We end up wiping to the second boss since the healer was left to long in the bubble and kick the lancer. The replacement was... another French Miqo'te lancer! This one apologized though for forgetting to put the crystal back on (can happen) and played better in general, so we cleared the rest of the dungeon without any big problems.

I had a good laugh once I fully realized the absurdity of this a bit later

Did Dusk Vigil on my alt's BLM and got a fellow BLM in the party who admitted he hadn't done any of the 50+ BLM quests. He hit 55 while we were in the dungeon. His excuse was, "I main healer jobs and usually don't get around to it. I play BLM so I can do it with minimum effort."

Just finished my first extreme trial, xanthos dropped and I rolled 99, whilst my friend who joined me, rolled 98. She was so envious, mwahahaha.

Last night I was in MS roulette and got hit with a random lag spike. Spent 75% of the dungeon either frozen completely or watching all 7 other people jump around the screen. I've never cast so many fire III in a row in my life too bad they didn't count ;(
