I asked if they had any other defensive CDs (I don't tank yet, it scares me but I'm pretty sure they show up next to your name and I only saw one blue one with someone fist raised and a red looking protect ish one? And that one only occasionally??

Well, vote dismiss only takes 45 seconds to go through, IIRC. As for the tank, the red Protect-like symbol is most likely that one DRK-exclusive buff that I can't recall the name of right now. Blue icon with a fist in it calls to mind Mantra, which is actually a MNK skill, and not one that DRKs have access to, so most likely one of the DPS cast it on them. It only increases healing spells' effect by 5%, anyway. At any rate, at that level, most of the tanks don't have much to help in terms of cooldowns, except for PLD.

From the looks of it, you got a newly-unlocked DRK who was severely undergeared and probably at-level too, who jumped straight into Haukke Manor. In other words, the worst breed of tank.

Yep, the red one is the dark knight's Shadow Wall Shadowskin, but about the blue one, the description sounds more like Grit to me, Mantra's icon just shows a hand. Grit is the dark knight's tank stance which decreases taken and dealt damage and increases aggro, good thing they used at least that one. What they lacked was Darkside (red and black icon, the dark knight has kind of a red aura then), which increases dealt damage and is also a gateway to a bunch of other useful abilities.

So, levelling thaumaturge to 26 for swiftcast and this was my last run, which meant that it had to be Toto-rak *Shivers*

Did leveling roulette on my budding Machinist and the Gladiator tank in Haukke Manor (regular) would Rage of Halone and Riot Blade without the combo and couldn't keep hate. Seemed to do better once I typed out the whole rotation for them but then I looked, they had a DRK at 60. How do people have a tank at 60 and yet still have a lack of understanding how combos work? I mean SURE maybe they FATEd to 60 but just. .__.

I got this same tank today in Brayflox. They hadn't learned a thing. *internal screaming* I am staying away from leveling roulette. Leves and fates for me.

don't... take this the wrong way, but... uh. What was the pickup line? Like. Nothing they said was bad. Hell, I'm a guy, I've been told I'm the Glue a number of times. It's just a simple compliment. I dunno. Doesn't seem overly flirty to me.

I mean hell. I'm rediculous when I'm in a party, and I make dick and balls jokes and obvious-fake flirts. <_< This guy just seemed like he was complimenting the healer.

I should probably stop doing roulettes after losing the mini Cactpot. The bad luck seems to carry over and I end up in some weird situations. XD

Do my roulette tonight and get paired with a WAR, SMN, DRG and im the SCH. The whole run, the DRG would keep pulling the mobs and would randomly open the chests when there is still trash mobs. They would also never move from AOEs and kept almost dying because he still had lvl 56-58 gear. I kept telling to please avoid them and all he said was: "im watching netflix with the wife, not paying attention just here for tomes"
